Wedding decor + pictures + details

Happy Saturday everyone!! So Magnum and I got our wedding pictures back this week and we are so excited! I wanted to share with y’all some of our wedding pictures, and some pictures of decor details from the wedding.

I’ll start by saying all of the beautiful decor and details was done by our coordinator, Judy King. She is seriously the absolute BEST wedding planner, and I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. She planned out every single little detail and made the day run SO smoothly. I do not think there was a single mishap- and that is definitely because of Judy. I explained to her my idea for the colors, decor, flowers, and all the other little details, and she made it absolutely beautiful, and better than what I ever could have imagined.

I highly recommend anyone getting married to hire a wedding planner, or at least a Day-of coordinator to make sure the day runs smoothly, so you, as the bride, do not have to worry about anything on the day-of, and you can just enjoy it (as you should!).

Judy brought to me so many little details and asked me questions of what I wanted, about things that I would have never thought about.

With all that being said, here is a picture of us and Judy, and if you are getting married in the South/Central Texas area, I seriously recommend hiring her as your planner!! Message me if you want her contact.

Okay so for decor.. My mom and I collected a lot of items over the wedding planning process for decor, but all of the linens, and glassware we rented from Confetti Rentals in Belton, Texas. The pictures below are all the different centerpieces we had at the tables.

Our colors were Burgundy and Blush (Magnum still can’t figure out why the colors are not just called Maroon, and light pink. Ladies, if you’re engaged, your man will be very enlightened with a color scheme lol). Gold was our accent color for some vases, and little things like that.

Our head table was so BEAUTIFUL, I still can’t get over it. (Shoutout to Judy)

Mopsie’s, in Georgetown, Texas catered our wedding with the best BBQ ever!!! (You can’t do a Texas wedding without BBQ). We also had S’mores and cookies for dessert.

Our cake was a “naked” cake and was done by Kayla Knight Cakes in Round Rock, Texas.

My hair and make-up was done by Blush n’ Bangs in Austin, Texas. They are so awesome and do GREAT work. I’ll link they’re website under the picture below.

My dress was from Gowns of Grace in Dallas, Texas. It was designed by Allure. Gowns of Grace was awesome because all of the bridal gowns are very unique, beautiful, and high quality. Their website is linked under the picture below.

My veil was actually from a website called Light In The Box, which has REALLY good prices on wedding stuff. Veil’s can be so expensive, and I had ordered a couple other things like my garter, and guest book from this website, and I saw they had veils for really good prices also, so I decided to try it out, and the veil was beautiful. I was really impressed with this website having good quality wedding items for good prices. I also got my wedding shoes from Light In the Box, and they were so comfy! I’ll link the website under the picture below.

Our photographer was THE BOMB. Scott Darling Photography is the greatest, and the sweetest man ever. I’ll link his website under the picture below also.

Our videographer was also seriously amazing. His name is Orah Garst, and I’ll link his facebook page under the picture below. I’ll also link our amazing wedding video so go check it out!!!

All of our flowers were from Casa Linda Florals in Georgetown, Texas. Linda is the sweetest person and she was like my second wedding planner, and florist. All of her flowers are beautiful and she really works hard in making sure you get exactly your dream. We had a lot of greenery (which I love) and peonies (yessss).

One of my favorite details from the Wedding were the pictures hanging from my bouquet. These are pictures of Magnum and I’s family members who have passed away and could not be with us at the wedding. My Papaw, my Grandma and Grandma, and Magnum’s Geno. We got these small bouquet picture frames from Etsy.

Magnum and I decided we wanted to do communion as our first act of marriage. This was really special for the both of us, and I am really glad we did this.

My bridesmaids wore Burgundy dresses, and they were all different styles. I let my bridesmaids pick their own style dress because I had seen people do this before and I thought it looked so cute and different. They got their dresses from David’s Bridal, and David’s Bridal was awesome. They were so easy to use because most of my bridesmaids live out of town so I could not go with them to get their dress, so David’s Bridal put in their system the color they needed to get, and would notify if a style of dress was already taken, so someone else would not get it. They were soooo helpful and made the process, that I thought would be so stressful, really easy.

Magnum’s groomsmen wore black suits and Burgundy ties to match the bridesmaid’s dresses. They also wore burgundy pocket squares, and Magnum wore a burgundy and blush pocket square, to stand out from the other Groomsmen as the groom. 🙂

Our wedding venue was called The Milestone and it is located in Georgetown, Texas. So the venue was very picky on what we could use as our “send-off” items. We could not use sparklers, flower petals, bird seed, or confetti (for safety/cleanliness purposes of the venue, so I understand). We decided on using ribbon wands for our big exit. When we decided on doing this, we were going to make them, as we had seen people do on Pinterest. But.. when collecting wedding items at Hobby Lobby, we saw these ribbon wands already made and I loved them!!

SIde note for anyone getting married… Hobby Lobby has a whole wedding aisle and they have a lot of great items!! Also, their wedding items are ALL half off every other week, which is soooo awesome.

Lastly.. After the ribbon wand send off.. We left in Magnum’s huge truck (of course lol).

Thank you guys for reading and let me know if anyone has any questions about wedding planning or anything!!
